JOIN KYANA or renew your membership

You will be regarded as a pre-member until you fulfill these requirements for Car Club Membership. 

To advance to full KYANA Region Membership, you must maintain good standing as a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). KYANA will handle your membership applications for both clubs. For your first year, dues are $10.00, payable to KYANA. If you are not yet an AACA member, your inaugural membership in AACA is included as a complimentary benefit of your KYANA membership. In the following years, the annual dues amount to $55.00 in total, which includes $10.00 for KYANA and $45.00 for AACA. You can submit one check for the combined amount to KYANA to confirm your membership in both clubs. Subsequently, annual dues will be collected in the fourth quarter of each year and forwarded to AACA by KYANA on your behalf. 

As a new member, you have the option to be paired with a sponsor who will greet you and be available to address any questions regarding the club. Alternatively, you can maintain regular communication with Membership Chair Carol Bass. Your sponsor or Carol will keep you updated on upcoming events, encourage your participation, and assist in introducing you to the broader membership at the events you attend. 

All new members are required to attend a minimum of six (6) KYANA club events during your first year of membership. This participation is essential for transitioning from pre-member status to full KYANA Region Membership. Your Membership Chairman or sponsor will keep an attendance record verifying your involvement in club events. Notably, one of the six events you participate in must be the annual KYANA Swap Meet. All KYANA members, including pre-members and their spouses or partners, are encouraged to work one four-hour shift at the annual swap meet. There are various work options available to ensure you find a suitable way to support the KYANA Swap Meet. 

As a KYANA pre-member, your subscription to the club’s monthly newsletter, The Sidelight, will commence with the next issue following the processing of your application. This newsletter is a valuable resource containing information about upcoming events, your club officers and their contact details, board meeting minutes, and other important topics. Additionally, as an AACA member, you will also begin receiving their bi-monthly award-winning magazine, Antique Automobile.
